With the summer coming to a close, and labor day weekend approaching us, we must remind ourselves that summer is still in our mists. The weather is great and the air is fresh and there are still many days to be enjoyed. Maine is a beautiful place to visit during this time and there are still many activities for travelers. The Kennebunk Downtown Committee is hosting a special Blues Band event on August 30th, at 1:00-3:00pm. It will be a live music performance at the Kennebunk downtown plaza. Please remember to bring your own dance shoes. Also, the town of Kennebunk will be hosting a 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Sept. 6th, at 9:00am-1:00 pm.. The event will take place on the Eastern Trail.
